Over 30 years of practice as an internationally exhibiting artist and architect, Richard Goodwin has sustained a prolific and award winning, professional practice of art and architecture. His works range from freeway infrastructure, to gallery installation, to “parasitic” architecture / public artworks. Goodwin’s work is held in major collections including the Art Gallery of NSW, the National Gallery of Victoria, the Nuremburg Museum and numerous Regional Gallery and private collections. Exhibitions include 3 Sculpture Triennials, 3 Australian Perspectas, The Third International Drawing Trienniale, Innensiete a Satellite of Documenta 10 in Kassel, Distance Tokyo and Kyoto, Der Overkant a survey of Australian sculpture in Den Haag 2007 and Poroplastic a solo show in 2008 .
Goodwin established the Porosity Studio at COFA in 1996. The studio blurs the boundaries between art and architecture and uses the city as a laboratory. Since 2004 the studios were run as intensive, international, multi-disciplinary workshops. In 2007, the British Council began sponsoring students from around the world to participate in Porosity Studios within the United Kingdom because of the quality of the work produced and diversity of networks established.

In 2003/2004 Ian McArthur initiated The Collabor8 Project to foster multidisciplinary projects online between design education programs in different institutions, and specifically across different cultures.
Having over 28 years experience as designer and design educationalist, Ian McArthur has held leadership roles in vocational and higher education in Australia and South East Asia. From 2001 - 2003 Ian was Program Director of Graphic Design, La Salle DHU International Design College (Donghua University, Shanghai, China). He holds a Master of Design (Middlesex University, UK) and two education degrees (UTS, Sydney).
Ian's professional practice focuses on cross-cultural design management and exploration of the potentials of collaborative practice, new technologies and design education in the global community.
Ian currently coordinates COFA Online's Undergraduate online program and lectures in the School of Design studies at The College of Fine Art (UNSW).

Zhu Jin graduated from Art Design Speciality of Fashion & Art Design Institute in Donghua University and got master degree in 2003. She majored in Architecture and got bachelor degree from Nanjing Industry University in 1994. She is Senior Interior Designer of Shanghai Architecture Decoration Association and the member of the Watercolor Council of Shanghai Artists Association. Her watercolor works have been shown in national exhibition and exhibited in Korea. She published textbooks such as Pen and Ink Skill of Architecture Landscape, Architecture Design Sketch Skil, Achitecture Design Theory and Method etc.

Ross Rudesch Harley [aka stereopresence] is an artist, writer, and educator in the field of new media and popular culture. His work crosses the bounds of media art practice, cinema, music, design, and architecture. Ross is Professor and Head of the School of Media Arts, College of Fine Arts at the University of New South Wales, Sydney.
Current research projects include: “Video Art Online: from Ubu to Imperial Slacks” a critical history of video art in Sydney together with video artist John Gillies; “LAST FM and the Music Multiverse” with Mat Wall-Smith and Andrew Murphie; and “Around the World in 80 Airports“, a 3D visualisation and photo-video installation project (with Zina Kaye and Mr Snow); and “The Incredible VHS Video Remix Machine“, the working title of a collaborative project with Elvis Richardson based on archives of VHS tapes and VJ presentation tools.

ZhaoWei is a Lecturer in the Visual Communication Design Department at the College of Fashion Art and Design at Donghua University, Shanghai, China. She holds a Masters and a Bachelor's Degree from the College of Fashion Art and Design at Donghua University. Zhaowei has exhibited in The First Annual Professor Exhibition Between Donghua University in October 2007 , China and Konkuk University, Korea and the Exhibition of International Professors June 2008.

Kevin is the lecturer for the courses: Basic Design and Graphic Design at College of Fashion, Art and Design at Donghua University. He is currently the SHANGHAI SHONE ART & DESIGN CO.LTD Artistic Director. He used to work for the Electrolux, DTMobile and Kohler. The exhibition he participated include: Korea Society of Basic Design & Art, International Exchange Exhibition 2004 Asia Society of Basic Design & Art, International Exchange Exhibition.

Tina combined her architecture degree with arts, majoring in philosophy and sociology. She has begun exhibiting work exploring the intersection of her fields of study in a number of Sydney group shows. In particular, Tina is interested in challenging architectural conventions through an exploration of embodiment as well as social significations. She is interested in the resonance between Goodwin’s work and her own ideas and enjoys working in a studio where such concepts are taken to fruition.
Tina’s work with Goodwin ranges from contributions in initial design concept and development to design documentation, model-making and graphic presentations. Tina has a strong involvement in Goodwin’s academic think-tank, Porosity and her work has manifested in graphics, concept development and publications for Goodwin’s international studios.

Rick is a Senior Lecturer in Design Studies at the College of Fine Arts, the University of New South Wales, Australia. In 1998, he founded The Omnium Project, an ongoing research initiative looking at online creative collaboration (OCC) particularly within visual arts education.
The Omnium Project now employs numerous people as researchers, designers, programmers and project convenors and Rick is more recently focusing his efforts on a series of socially aware online global projects to aid communities in developing countries. Rick has also presented and published outcomes of Omnium's online work, both nationally and internationally, at many design and education conferences over the last decade as well as in peer reviewed journals and media publications. He is currently completing a PhD at the University of Sydney, titled Drawing on the e-Collective: Exploring Online Creative Collaboration (OCC) within the Visual Arts.
